There have been no sightings of Murrey, the man who lived in the woods in the original titles (though the Japanese Nintendo Direct trailer did show a similar-looking character who could be a redesigned Murrey). There are still a lot of characters from the old games whose status is unknown for the upcoming Harvest Moon remake. The pyrotechnic twins, Patrick and Kassey, have also been shown appearing in a mini-game. Van, the traveling merchant, has also been seen in a couple of preview screenshots. It's looking like Kate and her father Grant will also be present. Tartan, the two-headed plant that belongs to Takakura, also appears to be in the remake. The Japanese Nintendo Direct trailer revealed a little more. Of course, the trailer also confirmed a child character the protagonist can have after marriage. From the Story of Seasons trailer alone, other confirmed characters from the old games include Rock's parents, Ruby and Tim, and Lumina's grandma Romana, alongside her butler Sebastian. Some of them may have name changes, though, and there are subtle design changes such as Mukumuku now having a hair bow. Non-romancable A Wonderful Lifecharacters confirmed on the Bokumono website who were also in the old games include Nina, Galen, Chris, Hugh, Vesta, Takakura, Wally, Mukumuku, as well as the tree harvest sprites, Nik, Nak, and Flak. However, since there are four bachelorettes, there will likely be a fourth bachelor who is yet unconfirmed (fans are guessing it will be the new male character shown in the trailer with a child, who could be the redesign of an old character named Cody). The confirmed bachelors are Gustafa, Rock, and Matthew from Another Wonderful Life, with Martin being renamed Matthew. The children are all adults, but they still live in Forgotten Valley.In terms of bachelorettes, the Bokumono website has Lumina, Nami, Molly, and Cecilia listed, with Molly being an updated version of Muffy and Lumina being a bachelorette from A Wonderful Life's special edition. San, Garrett, and Kate still live in the townhouses, with Gary over on Oceanview Hill and Nina buried out front. It's largely as if you've gone back to Chapter Two, with Nina still being gone. However, it's not as if you went back in time - your child is a fully-grown adult, who still lives with you and continues to pursue their passions as they had been in your final chapters of the normal Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life gameplay. The adults who showed signs of age leading up to the end of the game will all be back to their Chapter Two appearances - no more gray hairs or age lines for the folks of Forgotten Valley after you've come back, either. ![]() When you play Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life Chapter Seven: "Beyond," the first thing you'll notice immediately is that everyone is young again. Opt to "Continue" like normal, and choose the save with the Nature Sprites to continue on with the farm you've spent your whole life growing. After you've saved, you'll be taken back to the main menu.
